R HOUSE
The main goal for this project was to bring back that great feeling of the mid-century North American bungalow.

The exterior design of the house impresses with the combination of gently sloping, low-slung overhanging roofs, horizontal lines, large floor-to-ceiling windows and red brick exterior walls.
This modern bungalow-style house makes a statement of high-level design, functionality and volume.
On the rear facades, the design follows the same lines as the front of the house. We suggested two large covered porches, of different dimensions and purpose.
The first covered porch can be accessed from the open-space living room -dining – kitchen and has room for an exterior dining table and a sitting area, with views over the beautiful exterior fireplace, pool, and courtyard.
The second offers a relaxation exterior area for the master bedroom, which is cozier and more secluded from the center of the house.
Main Floor
We designed this layout specifically for our clients’ needs and desires, respecting the principles of modern architecture.
The main hallways are naturally lit, by high transom windows or floor to ceiling windows.
The position of the master bedroom was carefully chosen to have it in the most secluded part of the house, with the advantage of large openings to the back of the plot.
The central part of the house is a more accessible high-ceilinged open space, with a generous access to the large covered porch.
