L HOUSE

Situated on a generous plot, the house gave us the opportunity to create a special design, with modern volumes and straight lines.

With a different approach to the public space, the house presents to the street a large horizontal stone wall with a subtle row of windows, an entrance and garage door. It gives a glimpse of an interesting interior, yet reveals almost nothing.

The connection to the exterior draws all the parts of the house to a beautiful private courtyard with a large outdoor pool.

A central volume that houses the entrance and the staircase is the only vertical accent in the horizontally composition.

One wing of the house contains the bedrooms, bathrooms, closets, and laundry.

The other one is the heart of the house and offers an amazing open living -dining – kitchen space concept that opens to the exterior through this large floor to ceiling glass wall.  The space is dominated by a central fireplace.

This special L-shaped single-floor layout has so many advantages.

All the rooms in the house, whether bedrooms or day spaces, have an amazing view and access to the courtyard that the house encapsulates.

Another advantage is the access point and staircase to the lower level in the center of the house.

We chose to separate the living area of the bedrooms area in these two wings.

A special feature is the separation of the master bedroom from the other bedrooms  set in the opposite direction, both with the access from the day area and visually, by placing a stone wall between the zones, on the exterior of the house.
