Situated in the downtown area of the city of Harriston, Ontario, this two-story building contains commercial spaces on the main floor and apartments for rent on the second floor.
We were commissioned to redesign the rear zone of the building, provide more apartments and remodel the existing facades.
The owner and the City of Harriston loved the architectural proposal. The model is respectful of history yet offers a modern and innovative revitalization of the city of Harriston.
The project is a response to the need both for more rental apartments and remodeled and modern commercial spaces in the center of the city.
It has a large parking lot, with a parking space for every apartment.
